The design studio Woodlabo creates an absolutely fascinating light installation. "Eagle" is a tribute to the first module having brought men on the moon in 1969. subtle mix between a space shuttle and a stylized eagle, the chandelier has a multi-faceted surface. The birch leaf structure provides stability and lightness. The interior is made of aluminum. Woodlabo wanted to recreate the atmosphere of the space mission as suggested, very personal, choosing installation site very close to the soul of the designers. The series presented here was conducted in the archipelago of Turku, Finland, birthplace of the studio. The design is signed Gaël Wuithier and photographs Alfred Cromback.
